A new year always feels like an invitation to reflect, to reset, and to step forward with intention. As I enter this new chapter, I wanted to take a moment to share where I’ve been, what I’ve been building, and what’s ahead for both HERRtruth and HERRtruth Bakes.

Why I’ve Been Quiet

December is always a full month for me. Between the holidays, my birthday, and the natural rush that comes with the end of the year, things move quickly. This past December was no different. While I wasn’t actively blogging for HERRtruth, it wasn’t because I stepped away from creativity or purpose.

I was simply honoring the season I was in.

Instead of forcing myself to show up everywhere, I leaned into what I’ve grown to love: baking. Creating, experimenting, and sharing through HERRtruth Bakes became my focus, and it reminded me how important it is to stay connected to what brings joy and fulfillment.

Choosing What I Love Without Guilt

Baking has always been more than just a hobby for me. It’s comfort. It’s creativity. It’s a way I express love and care both for myself and others. During this time, I made a conscious decision to stay consistent with what felt natural instead of spreading myself thin.

And in that process, something became very clear:

I have two passions that deserve their own space.

Introducing HERRtruth Bakes

HERRtruth Bakes was born out of love for creating something warm, intentional, and joyful. What started as a creative outlet has grown into its own brand, one that now has a dedicated website and a clear vision moving forward.

This space is all about baking, recipes, sweet moments, and my journey toward one day owning my own bakery. It’s where creativity meets comfort and where I get to share a different side of myself without it competing with HERRtruth.

What HERRtruth Still Stands For

HERRtruth remains the foundation. This space will continue to be about healing, growth, mindset, and becoming the woman you’re meant to be at your own pace, in your own way.

It’s a space for reflection, honest conversations, life lessons, and personal evolution. That purpose hasn’t changed; it’s simply becoming more intentional.

As I step into 2026, clarity and alignment are my focus, not perfection or pressure.
