A New Chapter for HERRtruth

It’s been a while since I last sat down to write, and I’ll be honest, it feels good to be back. HERRtruth has always been a space for women to feel seen, inspired, and empowered, and I’m excited to breathe new life into this community.

Over the past few months, I’ve been reflecting on where I’ve been, not just with HERRtruth, but personally. I hit a season where I felt stretched thin, unsure of my next step, and even questioned if I was still walking in my purpose. But that pause taught me something powerful: growth doesn’t always come from constant doing. Sometimes it comes from slowing down, listening to God, and allowing yourself the space to realign.

There were days I had to remind myself that it’s okay to reset, to outgrow old versions of myself, and to trust that what’s meant for me won’t miss me. That quiet season brought clarity not just about what I want HERRtruth to be, but about who I’m becoming in the process.

What’s Next for HERRtruth?

• More honest conversations. We’re diving deeper into the real stuff: self-care, personal development, healing, boundaries, and creating a life rooted in purpose.

• Practical guidance. From career growth to wellness routines, I want to share tools that help you show up as your best self inside and out.

• A safe space. HERRtruth isn’t just a blog; it’s a sisterhood. A space to grow, release, and rise together.

As I step into this new chapter, I also want to start sharing more of my truth, the parts of my journey that haven’t always been easy to talk about.

Over the past year, I’ve been navigating life with diabetes and preparing for weight loss surgery. It’s been both challenging and eye-opening, but also deeply humbling. Some days are hard, both physically, emotionally, and mentally, but I’m learning to extend myself grace and celebrate every small victory.

I know I’m not alone in this. Many women are walking through silent battles, trying to find balance between healing, self-love, and their purpose. That’s why I want to bring more of those real, unfiltered conversations to HERRtruth, not from a place of perfection, but from a place of honesty and growth.

Because that’s what this space has always been about: finding strength in our stories, trusting God in the process, and remembering that our truth is powerful.

This next chapter of HERRtruth is about consistency, intention, and connection showing up with purpose and pouring into each other authentically.
